Hi, I’m Banksia, founder of The Little Stitch Co.

I’ve always been someone who loves creating. From drawing, art and music to baking, crafting and business ideas, I’ve never been very good at sitting still for long. If I find something that sparks my interest, I usually can’t wait to learn everything I can about it.

Embroidery was one of those things. One day I discovered what embroidery was and immediately decided I wanted to learn how to do it myself. What started as a spontaneous hobby quickly turned into a passion. At one point I even considered buying an embroidery business before realising I could build one from the ground up instead.

As I learned more, I found myself drawn to personalised baby items. There’s something special about creating gifts that celebrate a new arrival and become treasured keepsakes for years to come. That passion eventually grew into the idea for The Little Stitch Co’s gift hampers — beautiful, personalised gifts filled with thoughtful pieces that I would be proud to gift to my own family and friends.

Today, every item is created or carefully selected with the same goal: to help families celebrate life’s most precious moments with gifts that feel personal, meaningful and made with love.
